1. What is fire-enamel?

Fire enamel consists of liquid glass and mineral supplements, which is fused with 24k Gold powder and highest quality colours on high temperature. It is applied in several layers to a substrate, fired and forms with its unique radiance the centrepiece of FREYWILLE jewellery.

2. Where is the jewellery produced?

The FREYWILLE jewellery is produced in Vienna; Gumpendorferstraße 81; A-1060 Vienna

3. How is the jewellery produced?

Every FREYWILLE jewellery piece is a handmade piece of art with the highest quality, which is characterized by the noble material fire enamel.
Up to 100 manual working steps are necessary to produce the final colour intense fire enamel. It reaches from the inspiration and the design at the Atelier to the mixture of the exact colours and the enamelling, framing and polishing the jewellery.

4. How sensitive/fragile is the fire enamel jewellery?

Fire enamel is not shock proof or scratch resistant, so it is necessary to treat your jewellery carefully. We recommend wearing the fire-enamel jewellery not in combination with other jewellery (for example rings) to protect the enamel. Also we recommend avoiding the contact with saltwater, acid and soaps to prevent any damage.

7. How long is the warranty of jewellery watches valid and what does it cover?

Beginning with the date of purchase of a FREYWILLE jewellery watch the warranty for the clockwork is valid for 2 years. Our warranty covers only manufacturing defects. Damage caused by improper handling, wear and tear of the watch band and battery replacement are not covered by the warranty. To obtain a warranty, it is necessary to present the warranty card duly completed upon purchase.

8. Are all FREYWILLE jewellery watches „SWISS MADE“ and where are they manufactured?

All FREYWILLE jewellery watches are manufactured in our own manufactory in Vienna and have a SWISS MADE Quartz movement.

FREYWILLE offers a warranty for jewellery with manufactoring defects. These are immediately recognized by our experts in our in-house service department and you will receive a new piece of jewellery on presentation of the receipt issued at the time of purchase. We do not cover damage caused by improper handling or wear. Of course you can have your FREYWILLE jewellery repaired with us regularly.

When you buy FREYWILLE jewellery pieces online you have the opportunity to gift wrap. Click the button ,,Gift wrapping’’ at the desired product in the order review. Your gift will be packaged in a FREYWILLE gift box, wrapped in FREYWILLE wrapping paper and be decorated with a FREYWILLE bow.
